Training and Development

As a company we believe that we must invest in our people for the development of their careers and to better service our customers.

As an 'Investor in People' the Human Resource Development (HRD) team are continually working with everyone in the business to guide them in the achievement of their personal objectives and the business priorities. We provide tailored training programmes ranging from specific departmental activities to employees successfully completing external qualifications. The benefit for everyone that works here is a range of opportunities that will help them to grow alongside the company, and to become more effective. The understanding that each person owns their own personal development and that the business supports that development, empowers everyone to move their career forward.

Every year employees will regularly have the opportunity to discuss their training and development needs with their line manager. It is then the employees responsibility to follow that training plan through with the support of the HRD Team. There are also further opportunities to attend courses that occur throughout the year.

With human resources professionals based on every one of our sites, support is available to all employees through the structures built into the business and on an ad-hoc basis to suit personal circumstances.
