As a rule the recruitment team LOVE recruitment consultants and places where we can advertise for candidates – without you we would not be able to do our jobs.
Before you grab the phone please take a couple of minutes to read this page and then decide whether you should.
We aim to be the best supplier our customers have – we use the best materials we can get, we are competitive on price, we tailor our customer service to them and we operate an honest and upfront relationship with them. Can you be the best recruitment supplier we have?
We use recruitment agencies in various ways – for temp and temp to perm (both industrial and commercial), permanent (both industrial and commercial) and executive search. We advertise in local press, national press, specialist magazines and trade journals – we need great employees wherever they may be!
Some things it is probably worth you knowing:
- We operate preferred supplier lists which are reviewed when we think they need it.
- We read e-mail and snail mail.
- Persistence is admirable but pests are not – do not annoy our receptionists or our IS department – they will not thank us for it!
- Do not send CVs on spec – think how you would feel if it was your CV.
- If you think you will get on better by calling a manager the chances are they will refer you straight to us.
- We enjoy spending time chatting to friendly people on the phone but we do have jobs to do.
- If you are calling from a newspaper or a magazine remember we are far more likely to be interested if we see your publication regularly and have received a media pack.
We have to deliver a service to our internal clients and to do that, and not enrage the Financial Director, we need to rely on classic solutions, and also to be innovative. If you have a genuinely innovative idea that can help us deliver, we want to know (If in doubt use Royal Mail)
